The successful candidate should have 2 years + experience as a Software Developer and ideally have experience within the Oil and Gas industry. We are looking for experience withinthe following ; Microsoft .Net framework and Visual Studio.Net, Asp.Net and n-tier Windows applications, C#, XML, Web services, SQL Server, T-SQL, OSIsoft PI, ISS Group BabelFish, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. Ideally you will also have experience of an Exchange 2007-2010 migration, as well as Message labs and Remote Devices. In addition to strong Exchange skills, the ideal candidate will also have strong skills in Windows 03/08 servers, Active Directory and virtualisation. Flash Designer/Programmer 6 Month fixed term contract Aberdeen Flash Programmer required for my client based in Aberdeen. Responsibilities include This position is to assist the team in the creation of their core business which is E-Learning courses for the Oil and Gas industry. All of the creative work has already been done the team now require a flash programmer to help turn it in to a reality. Relevant experience of Flash Development is essential. You will be self motivated and be able to motivate others, you will possess excellent time management skills and will have experience of working toward deadlines. Commercial experience of operating in a multimedia role with experience of working with industry standard graphics packages. Excellent communication skills are a must. Key Requirements

Additionally the candidate will be comfortable with system development at physical, link and network layers and be confident to work effectively with system modeling teams and application engineers respectively to both develop and implement physical and data layer algorithms / data interfacing solutions. Experience in field trials, field data collection/analysis in support of system development is desirable.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong theoretical grounding in DSP principles and communication signal theory, coupled with a proven track record of real time system architecture design, algorithm design and implementation. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate strong coding skills in C and have proven experience in the design and development of low level device drivers for DSP peripheral units in conjunction with a broad familiarity with DSP hardware interfaces.
