We are looking to expand our Lifting Equipment Inspection Services Team; the successful candidates shall form part of our flexible inspection team, taking a lead role on LOLER test and inspection surveys across the UK, offshore and internationally.

Key Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role at Technician/ Engineer level
Relevant significant experience in cranes and lifting equipment inspection.
Ideally LEEA qualified, with a technical qualification in a Mechanical discipline.
Previous offshore experience, and have valid offshore medical, survival and MIST certificates.
Rope access and NDT experience is preferred.
Job Description
You will be required to carry out Thorough Examination and load testing of lifting equipment and accessories in line with Company procedures, on clients' equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and report on condition. Other responsibilities include: -
Carry out LOLER and PUWER audits as requested by the client.
Supervise inspection and testing activities and direct other workers accordingly.
Analyse and interpret data, manuals and other information to determine specifications and relevant inspection or test procedures.
Provide accurate and timely written reports.
Compile and verify inspection/test procedures.
Notify supervisors and clients, as appropriate, of defects or problems found during inspection and identify options for correcting these. Discuss inspection results with supervisors or clients to develop corrective actions.
Provide safety information and recommend compliance procedures.
Attend project pre/de-mobilisation meetings and attend Company/Client meetings, as required and liaise with Client as required
Mentor and direct less experienced employees in accordance with Company procedures. Oversee examinations/tests conducted by less experienced colleagues. Assess and verify experience and competence of less experienced team members.
Monitor the safe use of tools, equipment, and Company vehicles allocated to projects.
Carry out risk assessment and adhere to legal requirements.
Repair and refurbishment of lifting equipment in accordance with Company and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) procedures and requirements.
