Job Description Perform maintenance routines on platform electrical systems as part of multi discipline Team. Authorised person to effect the isolation of electrical equipment, specifically HV where authorised. Installs, troubleshoots, maintains and services electrical distributing systems, motors, generators, rheostats, control panels, switchgear, voltage regulators, rectifiers, electronic equipment, transformers, meters and automation equipment and controls in liaison with other departments to ensure continuity of safe operations. Keeps an adequate supply of electrical supplies and spare parts and prepares requisitions for items as needed. Maintains good housekeeping conditions in electrical workshop, job sites and switch rooms. Witness cable tests, test runs of vendor/specialist repaired equipment/plant and sign documentation to verify acceptance. Observe Company safety rules and regulations, including permit to work system and comply with same and puts forward suggestions and develop modification requests as necessary to improve plant/equipment efficiency/safety of operations. Ensure "as built" drawings are updated and on passed to draughting via Supervisor/Discipline Engineers. Skills & Experience Minimum City and Guilds or ONC Electrical 5 day Hazardous Areas 5 day HV/LV switching 2 day IEE wiring regulations Electrical isolation competency Level 3 Electrical Maintenance Offshore experience preferred but not essential Knowledge of electrical discipline in oil and gas industry Proven Team player This is a permanent position. Job Description The inspection of all instruments systems, PPM in general, repair and calibration of instrumentation. Required to conduct tests of equipment and assist Plant Operator to ensure safe and efficient instrument operation . Repairs, calibrates and maintains platform instrumentation systems Monitors platform master charts to establish possible instrument malfunctions Conducts and reviews the results of tests run in control room and ensure their reliability and accuracy Review/maintains accurate and current records of meter co-efficient Conducts special tests on platform instrumentation as required Ensures the installation, calibration and testing of platform instrumentation is conducted in accordance with Company requirements and statutory Government standards. Ensures the required supply of spare parts are available, prepares and requisitions items required. Previous experience of Hydraulic Hose and Fittings is essential for this post as is the requirement of a current OPITO approved offshore survival certificate. Candidates with relevant qualifications will be given preference.

Operations Carry out work according to Hydraulics and Service Controller To attend and input in Daily Production Meetings in Hydraulics and Service Controller absence Ensure staff are sufficiently trained on fitting of components, bearings, keys and general location and lubrication Ensure staff are sufficiently trained on fitting of hydraulic components, fittings, hoses, fixed pipework,otors, pumps and valves. 1 To utilise labourers on semi-skilled tasks when possible, ensuring adequate supervision To liaise with Hydraulics and Service Controller ensuring department input delivered in a timely manner to suit project requirements To locate and inspect all purchased components and manufactured components are available and correct prior to assembly.
