Job Description
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic alignment of Supply Chain annual objectives and plans to those of the C&P function and both the UK and Global business as a whole
Strategic management of the Global Approved Vendors List including the development of shared objectives and alignment to strategic purchasing, materials and commercial and corporate objectives
Identifying and developing potential new suppliers which would strategically benefit the supply chain
Evaluating the capabilities of proposed new suppliers in conjunction with key business stakeholders in the internal Supply Chain including Quality, HSE, BA and Operations Departments with the responsibility for approving or rejecting for use
Initiating agreements for key commodities including compilation of the scope, issuing ITT's, evaluating submissions, negotiating costs and award
Ability to negotiating cost reductions to a high level
Management of the Frame Agreement register, promotion of agreements and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators
Supplier performance monitoring, measurement, improvement strategies and the recording and analysis of data to support this
Undertake supplier visits, compiling visit reports on completion
Developing process improvements to the internal supply chain, including better utilisation of systems such as SAP, CDMS, SharePoint, the Subsea 7 Intranet and the Business Management System
Undertaking performance reviews on members of the department
Deputise for UK Purchasing Manager in his absence
