Job Description

As Supplier Qualification Lead your main responsibilities will include
Act as focal point for implementation of new SQS system
Maintain Key Account Manager (KAM) information on SQS system
Manage the interface between the SQS system and SAP, ensuring continuity and auditability
Create a list of current suppliers to be transferred from existing AVL (Approved Vendor List) to new SQS system
Assist Commodity Leads in vendor selection and development as required
Conduct training / familiarisation sessions for use of SQS system primarily within Operations, but across each function / department as required
Actively reduce qualified supplier list (QSL)/ approved vendor list (AVL)
Provide AVL input into Tenders as required
Be focal point for customer / third party audits concerning the control of vendors / SQS system
In conjunction with the Buyers and Commodity Leads review and action (approve or reject) all requested additions to new SQS
In conjunction with Buyers and Commodity Leads, support and drive supplier improvement initiatives
Work with Commodity Leads and Buyers on all aspects of AVL control, including exit strategies
Ensure that all procedures are complied with and all actions are auditable
Provide support to operational buyers as and when required
Qualifications:
Educated to A level standard, or local equivalent
Postgraduate Degree or Equivalent CIPS / CMI qualification
Specific Training / Specialist Skills
Working knowledge in MS Applications
Ability to present to small / medium groups of people
Understanding of Approved Vendor Lists and their position at the core of the supply chain
