Job Description
Our client is an international energy services company operating in engineering & production facilities, well support and gas turbine services. Employing over 28,000 personnel worldwide they operate in 50 countries
As Senior Estimating Engineer your main responsibilities will include
Provide an estimating service for all levels of cost estimates.
Assign tasks to junior estimators.
Understand the corporate and contract specific estimating procedures and carry out all work in accordance with these.
Proficient in the use of the corporate estimating tool.
Ability to compile detailed estimates using corporate norms.
Deliver estimates in a timely manner from engineering documents (drawings specifications etc)
Apply industry norms to everyday work.
Support the Lead Estimator in fulfilling his duties.
Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Estimating policies and practices; provision of different levels of estimate; norms ; Crystal Ball analysis; benchmarking; tracking estimate, Benchmarking and PCN status
Experience:
Estimating for major offshore brown field modifications involving engineering, procurement, construction; excellent experience in construction and materials estimating from outline documents; excellent knowledge of engineering design practice.
Decommissioning experience would be an advantage.
This is a permanent position
