Job Description

Our client is one of the leading global providers in engineering and construction services as well as technology products and integrated solutions and employ over 20,000 personnel in around 30 countries

As Workshop Manager your main responsibilities will include

Manage overhead and product budgets.

Development of team, motivate staff to ensure that they fully comply with all statutory and company policies and procedures.

Ensure that suitable resources are available to execute all required activities in a safe and cost effective manner.

Prepare justification for budgets and department improvements within the plant areas within your area.

Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to your team.

Ensure the development of all personnel within your team.

Attend Design Reviews.

Produce reports in a timely manner.

Attend Project Kick off meetings.

Liaise with Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure future work is covered in terms on test equipment.

Periodically attend project meetings

Qualifications:

HNC in Electronic, Engineering.

HNC in Management

Specific Training / Specialist Skills

Completed a recognised apprenticeship

Working knowledge of SAP

IPC Specialist

IOSHH Managing Safely
