The group operates in over 130 countries and employs over 95,000 personnel worldwide As Marine Coordinator your main responsibilities will include Assist the COMOPS Manager in the coordination of offshore vessel activities in order to ensure that operations are carried out safely and with minimum impact on schedule and budget.Ensure that all HAZOPs, HIRAs and other risk assessments are carried out and the associated recommendations are implemented before the start of the offshore operations.Ensure that all marine vessels are mobilised in strict accordance with company procedures and UKCS legislation. Manage the mobilisation of the Marine Warranty Surveyor, when required.Manage the rota for all offshore company personnel to ensure that sufficient resources are available to support the offshore operations.For all pipeline crossing and proximity agreements, to ensure that company obligations under the agreements are carried out e.g. the provision of pre and post lay survey data to the relevant pipeline operator.Build a centre of marine expertise, thereby ensuring that all the marine vessels are mobilised in accordance with company regulations and the appropriate UKCS legislation and that the relevant documentation and procedures are approved and in place.Liaise with the Marine Operations Superintendent to ensure that all the activities of the marine vessels are carried out in accordance with the relevant company GS, Company Management System (CMS) and other related procedures.Attend and, in the absence of the COMOPS Manager, to chair regular marine vessel coordination meetings and circulate the related MoM to ensure that all relevant parties understand and are in agreement with the scheduled vessel movements and priorities. This position will be responsible for creating accurate manufacturing sequences whereby raw materials and assemblies are processed into quality finished products using the most economical and efficient means. Reviews prints and bill of material requirements of items to be manufactured and determines the process plans/routings, instructions, methods, procedures, tooling, etc. required. Uses computerised files/systems to analyse production status and creates manufacturing processes for parts/assembly by specifying machines to be utilised, stages of manufacture required to produce finished part. Assists in establishing standard production times for parts and/or assemblies, recommends improvements/modifications, and discusses/resolves impact of process plans with other departments as required. This position will also assist other departments as required and assist in the selection and implementation of new technology. Skills typically acquired through related manufacturing experience.
