As Project Engineering Manager your main responsibilities will include
Liaise with the clients engineering team * Ensure that personnel and engineering tools are available when required * Promote the training of the engineering workforce * Report engineering status to individual project managers, to business and to client as required * Administer and implement, and where applicable, Client/Project company policies and procedures * Remain abreast of legislative requirements * Approve discipline man-hour and cost estimates * Prepare multi discipline engineering estimates and control expenditure. * Maintain and develop current awareness of engineering technologies, codes and standards
Experience/Skills:- Professional engineer with substantial experience and expertise in upstream Oil & Gas sector offshore * Robust knowledge of engineering design integrity/technical assurance activities * Experienced in project engineering of multidiscipline engineering teams * Robust client management skills * Knowledge of principal multi-discipline codes of practice and standards * Sound knowledge of statutory documentation relating to engineering * Solid grasp of multi-discipline engineering practices and techniques
