Job Description

As HSE Advisor your main responsibilities will include

Provide HSE advice and support to the onshore contract management team.

Provide effectible liaison and support to the offshore / site organisation.

Provide environmental support to the team.

Operate within the extended client HSE Team.

Ensure delivery of Client / Company Interface requirements and HSE Improvement Plans.

Provision of induction, training, instruction and support to all project personnel in relevant areas of HSE.

Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports to ensure that 'root cause' issues are both identified and linked to measures to prevent a recurrence.

Analyse lessons learned to identify sources of information to be used in the prevention of a recurrence.

Carry out the Project Offshore / Onshore Site HSE visit programme. Undertake regular Office/Site HSE visits as directed.

Prioritisation and coordination of HSE support activities.

Participate in knowledge sharing / Best Practice across company contracts to aid delivery of HSE performance & contract specific KPI's.

Provide specialist knowledge and input to the Engineering Mods Co-ordinator to effectively manage engineering projects.

Assist in offshore/onshore audits to provide assurance against HSE related topics

Education & Qualifications:

NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent.

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:

Project Specific:

Extensive experience of offshore or onshore upstream oil and gas operations with HSE responsibilities.
