Job Description

Our client is a major Mining and Oil & Gas production company based in Aberdeen and operating in the North Sea

As Contracts Engineer your main responsibilities will include

Preparation of contract strategies and development plans for company's Drilling/Production/Facilities/SHE/Projects/Logistics requirements

Co-ordination and handling of tenders and enquires including prequalification requirements.

Co-ordination and evaluation of tender submissions, including development of commercial and contractual evaluation models, clarifications and negotiations, preparation and presentation to management of recommendations to award.

Preparation of contractual documentation, setting up files in accordance with company's procedures.

Post-award contract administration, ensuring insurances are correct and maintained, rate negotiations, claim/variation agreements, contract amendments, performance assessments and the maintenance of comprehensive files.

Provision of day-to-day liaison/advice service on commercial and contractual matters to personnel within the relevant business lines to ensure company's best interests are maintained.

Research and resolution of all commercial/contractual issues involving with reference to company's Legal, Finance, Tax, Insurance advisors and personnel in country as appropriate.

Upholding company's Commercial & Contracts policies and procedures within the organisation and in the wider market.

Develop contract administration role to support Company FPSO operations
