Key Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role is required.
Education & Training
Competent user of Autocad, Microsoft Suite essential
HNC Mechanical Engineering (preferred as a minimum)
Good standard or spoken and written English
Good level of higher education
Work Experience
Some experience in a mechanical background preferred
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Creation of product drawings
• Create processes, procedures and specifications
• Provide engineering support to sales, projects, production and service
The duties associated with this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Draughting: Produce conceptual and layout drawings for proposals, bids and tenders
Produce assembly and detailed drawings for manufacture and production
Process engineering documents as required
2. Design Documents: Creating technical specifications, manufacturing instructions and procedures
3. Engineering Support: Prepare technical documents for review by senior engineering personnel
Liaise with senior engineering personnel to resolve engineering issues
4. QHSE: Following established operating requirements and work instructions and assisting in the
development of new and revised processes
Adhering to the company’s arrangements for the management of health, safety and
environmental issues.
Carrying out all specified duties in a safe and efficient manner and highlighting any issues
via the relevant reporting mechanisms
