Job Description

Barclaymeade's Oil & Gas client based in Aberdeen are currently looking to recruit a Senior Commercial Coordinator.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, this is a senior position within the Commercial Team specifically in support and management of all internal business transactional activity, including management of all internal 'client' contract queries and amendments, timeliness and quality of internal billings, month end reconciliations and monitoring and management of internal debts.

Responsibilities:

*Ensure that the work carried out is strictly in accordance with the company's policies, processes and procedures.

*Support the Commercial Manager by ensuring the commercial and administration requirements for each internal contract are understood by the team and complied with.

*Ensure that periodic contract reviews are undertaken and that specific issues, risks and opportunities requiring management are understood and communicated.

*Ensure that financial reporting for each contract meets with corporate accounting requirements and that ongoing analysis is being made to track recovery against costs, highlighting and resolving any associated issues.

*Provide Commercial Manager with the relevant information on a monthly basis in relation to provision of profit and loss information and analysis.

*Manage the interfaces and liaise with the relevant Petrofac managers in respect of all commercial aspects of the internal 'client' contract, including rates revision process

*Manage the preparation and agreement of all internal client invoices and valuations, ensuring that these are presented on time and correctly.

*Manage month-end reconciliation information for internal contracts liaising closely with other relevant members of the commercial team

*Monitor closely and manage appropriately all issues associated with internal client debts

*Build and maintenance excellent relationships with internal clients and functional support groups

*Deputise for Commercial Manager when required to do so

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

*Preferably degree qualified, in Quantity Surveying would be advantageous

*Previous experience in a similar commercial and accounts management role essential

*Proven ability to work under pressure and to close deadlines

*Good telephone manner and positive customer focus

*Excellent communication and computer skills

*Ability to interact and work well within a team environment
