Responsible for preparing the forecast, management accounts and narrative for company for review by the Financial Controller Prepare the annual budget submission and biannual SAFs for review by Financial Controller Cash management, reporting and forecasting for company Processing of all sales invoices Maintenance of group fixed assets register including additions, disposals, and reconciliations Monthly Inter-company schedule submission and agreement Create monthly Inter-company recharge invoices Responsible for the integrity of the company nominal ledger Prepare management information for monthly senior management meetings Enhance current management information to reflect changing needs of management and to drive the business forward Assist in data cleanse of current system and implementation of new ERP system Assist in improving, developing and monitoring controls Preparation of Statutory Accounts Yearly

Job Description

As part of the Senior Management Team, this role will support the Regional Directors, taking a lead in the financial and procurement management of the business positively. The role will influence the business through profitability enhancement, service delivery improvement and business development. The position will provide financial support to operations by assessing business trends, developing root cause of issues, identifying opportunties to reduce costs and improve productivity and efficiency. A key part of this will be to ensure transactions which impact financial reports are properly monitored, controlled and processed to aid descion making and improve margins. In addition, detailed inderstanding of client contracts, tender cost assumptions and projected cash flows are essential in the performance of the role. Related experience and substantial commercial accumen are essentials for this role along with a relevant ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification.

Recently qualified CA or ACCA with experience within a general practice setting. Experience of SAGE and preparation of accounts from incomplete records are essential. Experience of business tax computations is not essential but would be preffered.
