Key Requirements
Fully ACA or ACCA Qualified Essential.
Experience of running a finance function within an oil service company would be an advantage.
International accounting and tax experience highly desirable.
Job Description
The role will involve the following:
* Support commercial business proposals.
* Support negotiations and business proposals with relevant and reliable information to bring a critical eye to the evaluation process.
* Ensure the division has an effective process for managing business risks.
* Identify, assess and mitigate business risks including foreign exchange rate risk, contractual liabilities and operational risks.
* Manage business change, such as the integration of possible future acquisitions.
* Support the Group in maintaining adequate and effective insurance cover for insurable risks.
* Ensure the monthly financial information is produced to the standards required and within timetables suitable both for the Division and Group purposes.
* Provide relevant, timely and accurate financial information to aid the decision making process.
* Ensure proper controls are maintained over the assets and liabilities of the Division.
* Production of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
* Creation of business plans from initial assumptions through to full P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows.
