Job Description
Our client is a European owned oil & gas contractor with over 25 years of experience. They provide services to the rig building / refurb, offshore, onshore and oilfield services industries. They are presently looking for a degree / diploma qualified Mechanical Superintendent who has at least 15 years of experience gained in the oil & gas contracting industry.
Candidates MUST have a heavy mechanical background in rigs, pumps, engines, drilling etc. Candidates who have worked on jack up rigs would be highly desirable. Applicants should be assertive, good communicators, physically fit and be able to work in extreme climatic conditions.
This is a great opportunity to join a well respected company who have projects on their books for the next foreseeable 6 years.

Report to the Department Manager and Project Manager at regular intervals, in particular where it concerns capacity utilization rate and work in progress; Take responsibility for quality, safety, health, well being and the environment within the department and its projects; Coordinate and take responsibility for communication towards staff on the department's working methods and production (within internal and external quality guidelines, requirements and standards and in consultation with other departments within and outside one's own office) in order to assure the technical quality within the department.
