Single Point Contact (SPC) for establishing and running process for formulation changes to be implemented in plants. Conduct plant audits to ensure compliance. Ensure closing of post audit issues within specific time. SPC for test method issues/standardization at plant level. Conduct Interlab Correlation Programs between QC labs coordinated through Center. Create opportunities for taking cost out of plant formulations. Conduct regular network meetings with QC Managers and keep the network live with latest changes ( on specs, products and test methods). Coordinate with Procurement team to envisage any changes in already existing base oils. Technology and quality stewardship for overall lubes product range in ME that includes both businesses. Skills & Experience Minimum bachelor level degree in Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering Preferably with an Automotive business background*. Significant industry experience in lubricants technology with hands-on knowledge of lubricant formulations, quality control requirements & blendplant operations. Usage of JDE & strong computer knowledge is recommended. Able to take prudent decision and support business / quality processes in case of challenges. Ability to sustain pressure and drive consensus on quality issues within cross functional teams. Supports cross functional teams on issues which need to be driven to closure. Good business partnering and networking approach. Has good understanding of Business challenges and implications. In depth knowledge of Business / Industry, Product Formulation & Lab Management Working knowledge of plant processes Good understanding of audit procedures & systems Expert analytical and data interpretation skills This is a permanent position.
