EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY- POWER PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - POWER PROJECTS THROUGHOUT SOUTH EAST ASIA! Due to their increasing business across South East Asia, my client is looking for a Power Project Development Manager for their power projects within the region. My client operates at the forefront of the power industry, as one of the largest power sector consultancy and engineering companies in the world. In South East Asia, they are a leading power sector EPC/EPCM and consulting engineering company, with offices in Australia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. They are presently involved in several EPC/EPCM type projects including, Coal Fired, Gas Fired and Biomass Fired Power Stations. The ideal Power Project Development Manager should have ten to twenty years work experience within power utilities, independent power producers, equipment suppliers, consultancy or engineering companies. The scope of work will include the following: *Preparation and management of power plant conceptual design studies, feasibility studies, lenders engineer and independent engineer projects, and technical due diligence assessments for acquisition of power plants. *Management of EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, IPP bidding projects, PPA negotiations and power project development in general. *Management of various other technical consulting assignments. *Preparation of reports for the clients as required and coordinating the internal report preparation process. *For interested candidates, business development, proposal preparation and consulting contract negotiation can be included in the scope of work *Follow-up of customer satisfaction during the project implementation As the role requires writing reports in English, the successful candidate will have excellent written and spoken English. You will be located in either Bangkok or another major South East Asian city, however the role will include occasional trips to other SE-Asian countries.
