Primary Trainee / Junior qualification standards with seismic experience of at least 1 year. Applicants should have the potential to become Chiefs within 2 years where they will manage the key money earning activities of the product line. Work is often outside in tough physical conditions, involving significant driving off road and supervision and coaching of others. Candidates should have experience in varied conditions and have demonstrated technical and managerial prowess in this position. Team working is central to progression on seismic crews where people live and work in close proximity. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and possess sufficient affability / extrovert natures to become active crew members. Job Specifications: Supervising trainees, junior Instruments Technicians and junior staff. *Ensure that regular operations meetings take place in the section and that junior staff are fully involved. *Oversee well-being of all maintenance staff. Managing line logistics along with Senior Technical staff *Co-ordinating with other sections. *Planning ahead to maximise recording time. *Planning ahead daily equipment rotation Being fully competent in all aspects of more junior jobs such as Junior Technicians (including their training modules).
