    * Proven ability in working with MRP systems, and inventory systems.
    * Proven dexterity in working with computer systems, MS Office, and the ability to learn computer processes quickly.
    * Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Processes (Six Sigma, DMAIC, Lean Systems)
    * Results and goal oriented inpidual to focus on throughput.
    * Experience with Oracle is highly preferred
    * There is 10% traveling, including to the US
    * Must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed

    Job Description

    Job Description:

    This position is based in Edmonton, Alberta.

    * Create and disburse work orders to the Manufacturing Department with the requisite control on completion and status on each work order.

    * Identify material shortages and work with procurement to expedite and manage production plans of affected jobs.

    * Maintain daily updated production schedules to ensure customers required dates are met.

    * Communicate with customer service, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing on scheduled orders to ensure on-time delivery to the customer.

    * Maintain customer service support/communication and focus on continuous improvements.

    * Asses lead times advising customer service / application engineers with regard to material availability, manufacturing lead time, and open capacity.

    * Manage the site's cycle counting process, and contribute towards inventory accuracy.

    * Maintain the integrity of the ERP system for manufacturing and materials planning.

    * Ability to manage projects in order to track accurate overall job costing

    * Focus on maintaining adequate manufacturing absorption and capacity levels.

    * Participate in annual Pure Safety Training and WHIMIS certification.

    Job Description

    Provide sound data for integrated plant information system Ensure the infusion in inputted into the GERA system or equivalent Review both hydrocarbon and petrochemical pumping sheets by streams and products and confirm it matches the information within the GERA tool or equivalent reconciliation tool Ensure the GERA model or equivalent reconciliation tool imports the following information from InFusion Process Flow Reconciled Flow (MBM) Sensor Flow Oil Movement Data Tank Inventory Information Ticket Flow Information for the day Confirm all imported data is completed by listing all major discrepancies Liaise with relevant departments to collect and understand reasons for discrepancies and execute the mass balance Reconcile, plant information using the imported data from other sources. Ensure the model is balanced within the tolerable deviation (Gross Error Free). If the information is not balanced further checks should be completed. Validate the results and export into InFusion and confirm the results are satisfactory within the system. Should this not be satisfactory cancel validation model and start reprocess in GERA
