COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & FINANCIAL AUTHORITY
Manager Central Sales reports to Chief Sales & Marketing Manager and confers with the latter on strategic issues.
Analyze competitor data and prepare reports to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer to keep him informed of the competitive market situation and assist in formulating commercial strategies for divisions
The Manager Central Sales Function is responsible for Key Accounting Management and Sales Administration, Customer Relations Management, coordination and functional steering of divisional sales, Coordination of proposals, contracts, account planning and client evaluation
The Manager Central Sales is responsible for representation with customers and acquisition of new customers, implementation of group sales strategy, Customer analysis and update with market intelligence, sales performance monitoring across group, Competitive analysis etc
Manage the relationship with key clients to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty

Primary interaction is with the Business Development team along with company customers and vendors. Manager will directly report to the VP of Operations/General Manager. Interfaces regularly with inside sales on quotes, orders, required deliveries. Lead the daily activities for the distribution center personnel including sales, warehouse and administrative duties. Works with management personnel to develop strong responsibility parameters for direct reports. Lead procurement efforts from company vendors and assign responsibility for vendor interface according to tasks as performed by direct reports. Ability to translate valve specifications into company part numbers for entry or quotation. Review customer PO’s and Picking tickets to confirm order accuracy, documenting and sending order confirmations, and shipping acknowledgements to customers including order tracking numbers. Ability to enter and print order information on the company ERP system and timely processing of RMA’s. Maintain back order items in a way so as to periodically review and advise customers of their status, insure pre-ship inspection procedures are followed. Record and notify the vendors of any discrepancies before shipping, printing and providing MTR’s for orders, ability to troubleshoot basic valve issues from the customers via telecom or email correspondence. Training of new staff and prepare them for their job responsibilities in inside sales, procurement, warehousing, and administrative duties. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in various stages of completion that have deadlines and require periodic follow-up.
