Job Description

My client is a leading manufacturer of static process equipment and are looking for an Operations Manager to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Candidates should have a Mechanical / Industrial Engineering Degree with a minimum of 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 5 years experience as Production Manager in the oil, gas, petrochemical construction and manufacturing industries.

Subsea operations engineer- Major Operator role!! Based in Stavanger, Norway. Leap29 are searching for a Subsea Operations Engineer to join their major operator client with offices in Stavanger, Norway. They are urgently looking for a high calibre candidate to join their subsea operations team. Working within the Subsea Operations Team and reporting to the Subsea Operations Team Leader, you will be a core member of this team and will work closely with the SPU Subsea Operations Team. The Subsea Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the subsea equipment are safe and reliable for production. In addition, the Subsea Operations Engineer is responsible for: - Identification, definition, preparation and co-ordination of all subsea work assosciated with the two assets and their satellites including intelligent pigging. As such, the Subsea Operations Engineer will be the onshore subsea operational focal point / asset engineer and work closely with the ASTs for each asset. - The subsea equipment comprises 350 Km of Pipelines, 13 Jackets, a 290Km power from shore cable and associated risers and other seabed equipment. Whilst the Subsea Operations Engineer is not accountable for Corrosion Management or Jackets, they has an important role to supoprt these disciplines with the delivery of the subsea operational aspects of this work. This will include the provision of all subsea operational activities (Interventions, Inspections, Intelligent Pigging etc.) for the assets that are not part of Drilling Operations, Major Projects or other specifically agreed work scopes The position is office based, but can involve work on the platforms, Inspection / Installation Vessels and Shore Bases as required. Education/Experience: *Educated to degree level in an appropriate engineering discipline (Subsea, Mechanical, Structural/Civil, Controls/ Automation) and preferably a relevant Masters degree. *Minimum of 5 Years experience in Subsea Engineering, Subsea Operations and/or Subsea Integrity management. Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Perform as maintenance Technical Authority for all issues related to maintenance of lifting equipment. Responsibilities are defined in company Manual of Technical Authority. Develop a Lifting maintenance reference plan Develop pan asset Maintenance Strategies and Procedures for lifting equipment in compliance with Kazakh Regulations and company adopted Standards (including Shell and International standards). Work with internal NCPOC and Agip KCO design and maintenance engineering departments (Electrical, rotating, mechanical & instrumentation) to ensure multi disciplinary implementation of Maintenance Strategies and Procedures. Participate in Troubleshooting / Inspection to establish root causes of failure (RCFA) and prepare Corrective Maintenance plans. Ensuring that Change Control Procedures and relevant Standards are followed for any changes executed. Enable Projects to support the delivery of all development projects by executing project activities, including Design, Construction and Installation. Perform Quality Assurance and Control reviews to ensure the technical integrity, constructability, functionality and reliability of the design product. Provide input to the development of project execution contracting strategies that complement designs, construction methods and operating methods. Manage outsourced work to Engineering Consultants and Contractors. Act as Contract Holder for selected contracts. In this role be responsible for the initiation, award, execution and completion of the contracts for which you have been appointed Contract Holder. Support development of maintenance contracts, working in close co-operation with budget holders and operations staff on site, contracting and procurement staff, finance, HSSE, SAP Blueprint team, local content department, contract board, government bodies. Work with Suppliers to manage their performance and support them to meet agreed targets. Ensure that interfaces between Company and Suppliers and interfaces between different Contracts are effectively managed. This includes Operations, Logistics, Engineering (Modifications) and Spare Parts contracts.
