Due to a major restructuring of several of my clients divisions the position of Divisional Head of Planning/Costing has become available. The role is fulltime based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role purpose is to monitor the execution of projects within the Engineering and Construction Division to control performance and utilization of resources and ensure activities are conforming with forecasted budget and time planned

Job Description
Prepare reports on operational activities to keep the Engineering and Construction Division Head updated on the divisional performance
Suggest and monitor operational KPIs to follow up on the Engineering and Construction Division's performance and identify improvement areas
Divisional Head of Planning/ Costing is responsible for the formulation, alignment and implementation of the organization’s Planning/ Costing strategies across KSA and keeping all of the Department’s systems abreast with the latest technologies and resources.
Key decisions having significant impact on Planning/ Costing of the organization are referred to Head of Project Services for his views / approval as required before implementation.
Oversee Planning/ Costing activities for SIS Engineering and Construction division as per SIS standards and Monitor execution of projects to control performance and utilization of resources and ensure activities are conforming with forecasted budget and time

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & FINANCIAL AUTHORITY
Forecast project performance and identify deviations from plans and budgets to track performance of Engineering and Construction Division operations
Provide Finance with tracked data about previous performance and costs ratios to enable accurate forecasts of annual budgets
Divisional Head of Planning/ Costing reports to Head of Project Services and confers with the latter on strategic issues.
Review and consolidate operational performance data to track adherence to planned schedules and budgets
The jobholder exercises financial authority as per the level established by the CEO / GM.
