    Process Engineer with experience in "heavy ends" processing technologies including hydroprocessing in Saudi Arabia.

    As the Process Engineer (Hydrotreating/hydrocracking) you will be providing research and technological development to my clients refining operations and provide technical support to refining operatives. You will design experimental programs, run pilot plants (i.e., bench scale and micro-reactor), evaluate data and provide reports, monitor commercial conversion unit operations in support of research programs. You will also develop kinetic modeling to assess in scaling-up the data generated from pilot plant testing.

    Requirements

    - B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or a related subject from an accredited university.

    - Ten (10) years of post-graduate work experience with a least eight years of experience in "heavy ends" process/catalyst development, which must be in industrial research and/or technology development.

    - A minimum of 2 years of experience in refining operations.

    - Extensive experience in pilot plant program development, operation, data evaluation and reporting.

    - Knowledge of process simulators (i.e. HYSIS and PROII), process design experience in a plus.

    - Catalyst testing, evaluation and analysis/characterization

    - Standard analytical methods/advance analytical techniques including GC-MS, GC by compound specification

    - Knowledge of Microsoft Project software.

    - A good command of oral and written English, and excellent skills in computer and presentation skills.

    - Have written or had published technical papers or reports.

Ten years of experience in the oil and gas industry as an engineering specialist in the field of cathodic protection combined with general experience in corrosion control. Must be a certified level 4 NACE Cathodic Protection specialist and active in NACE or other technical committees.
