Leap29 are searching for a Subsea Operations Engineer to join their major operator client with offices in Stavanger, Norway. They are urgently looking for a high calibre candidate to join their subsea operations team. Working within the Subsea Operations Team and reporting to the Subsea Operations Team Leader, you will be a core member of this team and will work closely with the SPU Subsea Operations Team. The Subsea Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the subsea equipment are safe and reliable for production. Prepare works for their execution and for restoration on job completion; Verifying that all maintenance work carried out in the area of responsibility is performed according to PTW, WRAP and TRIC instructions; Ensure that the worksites are checked and safe prior to authorizing any work to commence and during execution; Checking level/inventory of chemicals, consumables, etc and ensuring restoration to normal levels; Ensure Area Operator maintain chemical injection at required target rates; Performing the necessary activities during start-up, shutdown and emergency according to the instructions of the Offshore CCR Panel Supervisor and Offshore Production Shift Supervisor; Checking the Area Operators log sheets and highlighting any anomalies to the Production Shift Supervisor; Ensuring the sampling of process fluids, for plant performance monitoring, is carried out safely and accurately; Taking appropriate action in case of alarm and/or emergency, following AKCO procedures and site instructions; Ensure well production test program is completed and record parameters (P, T, Flow) as per SPV instructions; Assure operational integrity, process safety is maintained following field feedback and promote continuous improvement to achieve a high level of Operational Excellence; Compiling, completing and submitting of necessary reports and documents regarding Production Operations; Ensure daily log of significant events in area of responsibility is maintained and give accurate verbal handovers to on-coming shift. Maintain records in Operations Desk Top (ODT) system; Familiarize himself with platform procedures and standing instructions and disseminate same to area operators; Review and provide input to updates of operating procedures, instructions and job cards; Monitor work in their area of responsibility, participate in tool box talks and stop or suspend work if deemed necessary; Assist, as required, in emergency response situations that may arise on the plant; Actively participate in the SAFER reporting procedure; Ensure housekeeping in their area of responsibility is to the required standard; Maintain and audit the LO / LC register as required. Give support to work preparation, planning and scheduling activities, including Campaign Maintenance; Following-up and controlling the testing of new/modified equipment, systems and machinery; Identifying materials, tools and spare part requirements needed to carry out the activities, maintain stock levels; Ensuring the provision of adequate resources to carry out activities e.g. special tools and materials for the area operators and/or additional specialist operations support; Participation to Integrated Commissioning and Acceptance Team (ICAT) and Start-Up activities; Participation in and assisting with the co-ordination of the Project's Performance Test(s);
