Duties will include: Perform quality control checks, inspect and approve all incoming raw materials within the warehouse and manufacturing facility Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials Completing reports and logs on document inspection Complete all applicable activities identified within the department work packs and purchase orders Ensure all calibrated equipment used is within date and rated for the work activities To be considered for this role, the following is desired: HNC or equivalent in Mechanical, electronic or Electrical engineering Inspection background within mechanical and electrical systems is essential You must be eligible to work in the UK

They are urgently seeking a QC Inspector to work on petrochemical plants projects worldwide and also involved in plans, schedules and inspection visits to manufacturers to verify compliance with the purchase order requirements. Responsibilities: -Establish level of inspection from code requirements and discussions with requisitioning engineer -Arrange and chair pre-inspection kick off meetings -Ensure the vendor has a clear understanding of all required specifications, codes and standards, and is familiar with specific inspection requirements -Ensure Vendor has submitted to and received an approval of welding procedure and other required QA/QC procedures from the contractor prior to commencement of fabrication -Ensure the vendor is fully aware of fabrication and/or assembly that will be subject to inspection by the contractor's inspector, the clients' inspector and third party's inspector -The vendor is responsible for conducting tests, honouring hold points, and providing support to the contractor's inspector, client's inspector and third party's inspector -Approval of vendor's quality assurance/quality control plan procedure clearly indicating stages of inspection with specific reference to witness and hold points -Enquiry, evaluation and selection of Field Inspection Service Provider (FISP) -Ensure suitability of field inspectors, control of costs associated with field inspectors -Assign and coordinate field inspectors supplied by the selected service provider who have the necessary experience and capability to ensure vendor quality control -Final review of all vendors manufacturing certification, data books including material certification, NDT reports etc. prior to issuing final Inspection release certificates Requirements: -Relevant technical degree from University -8 years + experience QA/QC in petrochemical industry -3years + experience in quality management assessment -Strong knowledge of ASME/API/ISO codes and standards -Experienced in manufacturing or fabrication environment -Strong communication skills with ability to effectively deliver reports -Experience in assessing quality management systems of various manufacturing locations APPLY NOW!!! Job Description The Quality Management Lead for Auditing will be responsible for developing a new Audit & Review strategy and establishing a small team of auditors to implement it. The strategy will be forward thinking, with the aim of engaging all levels of the project delivery organisation in the assurance process. The role will require the candidate to; influence change in the way auditing is perceived and, demonstrate the value that auditing adds to a project. The audit team will be established as a central service delivered across the Angola Developments projects portfolio.
