Subsea operations engineer- Major Operator role!! Based in Stavanger, Norway. Leap29 are searching for a Subsea Operations Engineer to join their major operator client with offices in Stavanger, Norway. They are urgently looking for a high calibre candidate to join their subsea operations team. Working within the Subsea Operations Team and reporting to the Subsea Operations Team Leader, you will be a core member of this team and will work closely with the SPU Subsea Operations Team. The Subsea Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the subsea equipment are safe and reliable for production. In addition, the Subsea Operations Engineer is responsible for: - Identification, definition, preparation and co-ordination of all subsea work assosciated with the two assets and their satellites including intelligent pigging. As such, the Subsea Operations Engineer will be the onshore subsea operational focal point / asset engineer and work closely with the ASTs for each asset. - The subsea equipment comprises 350 Km of Pipelines, 13 Jackets, a 290Km power from shore cable and associated risers and other seabed equipment. Whilst the Subsea Operations Engineer is not accountable for Corrosion Management or Jackets, they has an important role to supoprt these disciplines with the delivery of the subsea operational aspects of this work. This will include the provision of all subsea operational activities (Interventions, Inspections, Intelligent Pigging etc.) for the assets that are not part of Drilling Operations, Major Projects or other specifically agreed work scopes The position is office based, but can involve work on the platforms, Inspection / Installation Vessels and Shore Bases as required. Education/Experience: *Educated to degree level in an appropriate engineering discipline (Subsea, Mechanical, Structural/Civil, Controls/ Automation) and preferably a relevant Masters degree. *Minimum of 5 Years experience in Subsea Engineering, Subsea Operations and/or Subsea Integrity management.
