    Job Description

    - Do you have considerable experience in Supply Chain Management within the oil and gas industry?

    - Do you have experience in drilling related contracts?

    - Do you have the ability to develop contracting plans, co-ordinate and communicate with various project stakeholders the timely delivery of their responsibilities/deliverables required for contract formation?

    This job will primarily be focused on leading the contract management activities for the Beta development project, while providing support to other Norway activities as directed by the Manager, SCM North Sea.

    Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a Suncor Project Implementation Manual (SPIM) SCM compliance plan for Beta and delivering on that plan, including particularly the development and implementation of contracting and procurement strategies, and facilitating contractor/supplier performance management.

    - Contribute to meeting or exceeding annual planning objectives, measures, and performance targets.

    - Set inpidual annual objectives, measures, and performance targets in alignment with the Supply Operations organization objectives.

    - Support continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of Contract Management.

    - Develop and maintain a Suncor Project Implementation Manual (SPIM) SCM compliance plan for Beta and deliver on that plan

    - Work with project stakeholders to develop contracting plans, co-ordinate and communicate with various project stakeholders the timely delivery of their responsibilities/deliverables required for contract formation.

    - Manage the contract formation cycle.

    - Provide guidance, coaching, and support to internal customers with regards to contract management activities.

    - Manage contract compliance discrepancies.

    - Respond to, and if appropriate escalate, all internal and external contract inquires.

    - Resolve issues escalated by users and/or suppliers as it relates to contract management and provide recommended solutions for issues requiring leadership support.

    - Manage the contract change request process when triggered.

    - Monitor contract expiry

    - Manage the contract close-out process

    - Manage the warranty claim process.

    - Monitor Suncor's performance related to contract terms.

    - Provide historical information related to a supplier(s) contract compliance and performance to the appropriate resources during the sourcing process.

    Skills & Experience

    - Considerable experience in Supply Chain Management with increasing responsibilities in various roles

    - Experience in drilling related contracts essential

    - Post secondary Business or Engineering degree preferred

    - Experience in relevant industry oil and gas industry preferred

    This is a contract position.

    The rate for this position is negotiable.

    Job Description

    • Import, export, transfer and reformatting of seismic data such as 2D, 3D & 4D seismic data, navigation data, seismic faults and horizons and of well data such as headers, directional surveys, log curves, synthetic seismogram. Maintaining audit trail of data loading, data modification and data transfer events
    • Working within the UNIX/Linux environment and with NT subsurface applications
    • Contributing to relevant data and information management projects, e.g. upgrade of
    software; data clean up; documentation refresh
    • Maintain and develop regular contact with customers and liaise with them to facilitate most efficient delivery of service requirements
    • Adopting and maintaining good data management practices e.g. timely housekeeping, quality checks
    • Working to the required standards and procedures in place and relevant to different data types and their management
    • Handling of client well and seismic data from and to third parties
    • Search and retrieval of data from national data repository i.e. Petrobank (specific to Norway)
    • Ensuring that request logging, tracking, maintenance and completion is carried out in the appropriate call logging system.

    The senior seismic/well data manager will join the Data Management Team and will be based on a client site in Stavanger.  The senior well/seismic data manager will have good technical knowledge of subsurface applications such as the Landmark i.e. OpenWorks, SeisWork; Petrel suite and Techlog.  The senior data manager should be competent in handling all aspects of seismic and well data management in Linux and NT environments.
