Job Description

The scope of the work is varied and covers the complete spectrum of company HSEQ activities and support to organisations across the group of companies, The following are key deliverables and responsibilities:

• Implement HSEQ strategy that delivers strategic objectives across well established international based businesses

• Provides employee leadership, manages employee delivery and develops employees

• Creates a results orientated business culture

• Implements polices, procedures, controls and services

• Delivers customer satisfaction.

Activities

Responsible for strategic HSEQ activities at all Company locations. Performs the necessary activities to deliver HSEQ strategy including, but not limited to:

• HSEQ resource support to the group of companies

• Overall responsibility for maintaining approvals to 9001, 14001 and 18001 held by the group.

• Overall responsibility for customer HSEQ management throughout the group

• Overall responsibility for advising the group on all applicable HSEQ legislation and monitoring compliance.

• Preparation and implementation of the overall HSEQ Plan and Audit Schedule aimed at improving performance across the group.

• Ensuring that all audits of critical suppliers and internal processes are managed so as to minimise risk to the company.

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual company HSEQ reports.

• Review and assist in compiling and amending HSEQ procedures and plans specific to the company and projects.

• Monitoring, analysis and reporting of HSEQ statistics and setting of objectives and targets for improvement in company processes and customer satisfaction.

• HSEQ input to company pre-qualifications and bids.

• Motivate, coach and encourage all personnel in HSEQ matters.

• Plan for and advise on HSEQ training within the group.
