Key tasks and Responsibilities
The Senior Designer - Pipe support has the following responsibilities and key tasks:
* Prepare the Pipe Support design basis for the project
* Independently design, calculate and make Pipe Supports drawings
* Ensure that design, drawings and other technical documentation are in accordance with relevant procedures, specifications and standards
* Checking of design drawings
* Ensure all work within his/her responsibility is completed in accordance with the accepted project plan
* Other duties as assigned.
* Technical School of Drawing/Design or Diploma in Mechanical Engineer
* Minimum 5 years of working experience
* Proficient in relevant company Applications & Programs.
* Fluent in oral and written English language.
* Team player, organized and meticulous to details.
* Ability to work under pressure.

Your main responsibilities will include: *Manage day-to-day follow up with field operations. Verify failure reports, handovers, contractual requirements regarding recording, quality, and accuracy of field data. *Plan and participate in mobilisation / demobilisation of the survey vessel. *Perform daily progress report, breakdown reports and other required company internal correspondence. *Ensure that all survey equipment in use has been calibrated and that the relevant calibration procedures are complied with. It includes checking that the correct calibration values are in use and that any relevant documentation is kept up to date. *Ensure that the collection of data is in accordance with 'good survey practice' and approved procedures and instructions. Ensure that the quality of data is consistent and of a proper standard. Monitor real-time displays, and examine calibration and data plots and charts/maps. *Participate in the tender process and prepare schedules and method statements. *Participate in the preparation of survey reports. *When requested by the company, and when time and other priorities permit, carry out other duties *Adhere to all guidance and instructions outlined in the EMS (Environmental Management System) being an integrated part of the HSEQ system *Be thoroughly familiar with the contractual/technical requirements of the operation. Ensure that the appropriate parts of these requirements are understood -and adhered to-by all relevant personnel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: *Qualified and Experienced in Survey. *Qualified in working within the subsea sector in a fast paced environment. *Education in Hydrographical surveying, Geoscience or other relevant education *Management experience from such as quality management, project management and mid-level supervision techniques is desirable.
