Job Description

FLEXIBLE RISER ENGINEER- Operator role- 2 Barents Sea projects

Flexible riser engineer responsible for engineering of flexible riser on our two projects in the Barents Sea in the Concept phase of the project.

At the end of the Concept phase a parallel FEED phase shall also be started.

The flexible riser engineer shall be:

- Technical responsible for finding a good technical concept with a minimum cost

- Contributing to targets for cost reductions for field developments.

- Some 15-25 flexible risers are needed on the project depending on the projects concept selection.

The engineer will participate in a team located in Oslo, Norway. Local present at the office in Oslo five days a week is required. Some travel during working week may be required to visit design offices, fabricators etc.

The right candidate will have:

- Master and 3-9 years relevant experience

- Bachelor and 7-13 years relevant experience

- Good knowledge of flexible riser global design and field -layout design

- Some knowledge of local design is beneficial

- Knowledge of failure modes of flexible risers is required

- English is required. Norwegian is beneficial
