Job Description
You will be responsible for planning and implementing test scenarios during the entire life-cycle of the product. Your main responsibilities will include
* Review of incoming business requirements, functional specifications, and user acceptance test criterion for clarity and testability.
* Return comments to the author.
* Participate in test planning and execution for multiple short-cycle releases.
* Develop, execute and maintain test applications, plans, cases and documentations.
* Perform feature testing, functional testing, and regression testing. Coordinate load and performance testing.
* Work with development and project management to determine test requirements and strategy, and report defects and testing status.
* Review requirements, code, design and other documentation for issues and size, and plan testing activities accordingly.
* You need to have a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent, preferably 1-3 years relevant working experience, and are expected to have knowledge in the following areas:
* Testing of web applications and interfaces
* Best practices of software testing methodology
* Good troubleshooting and problem solving abilities: quick, calm, logical, and analytical
* High level of initiative and dedication
* SQL experience
* Fluent in English

Will be able to write Project Quality Plans from scratch. Will be able to write procedures and method statements. Will be able to write and oversee Inspection Testing Plans. Will be able to manage a team to handle all quality tasks at a high level. Norwegian Speaking is a bonus but not essential This is a 12 month contract, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day based in the office in Stavanger. Leap29 Senior QC Engineer Stavanger Norway 12 Month Contract Leap29 - Senior QC Engineer - Offshore Projects - O+G Contractor - Start February Leap29 are working with a reputable O+G contractor who have need for a senior QC engineer who has procurement experience. This role will require working in conjunction with the sub contractors to ensure successful delivery of all of the subsea equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience of the quality standards required for establishing procurement contracts. will be able to work closely with sub contractors to review and write ITP's and ensure adherence to them. Will be able to perform and sign off SIT's for the relevant equipment Will have the ability to manage a team of intermediate and senior inspectors. Will work on-site with the subcontractors and be able to co-ordinate and update the client in a timely and professional manner. This is a 12 month contract, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day based in the office in Stavanger.
