    Senior Structural Designer responsible for the modelling & drafting procedures, Modelling and Drawing production for steel modules, steel structures and concrete foundations using PDMS software on petrochemical plants. Position suits a designer with strong technical experience of working on projects with large onshore or offshore modules, steel and concrete structures and foundation works.

    The designer should also have an understanding of project reporting requirements. The project is EPC and the role involves the coordination and design for engineering large scale piperack and equipment modules for an onshore plant. The Designer will support a team of engineers and designers. The Designer should be experienced in the current design techniques for modules. The Designer should have strong experience in 3D modelling and drawing production with PDMS software.

    - Lead and supervise project design team

    - Assist in the preparation and check engineering procedures, specifications and standards.

    - Prepare and check drawings, input and extract information from 3D model, input to bulk material MTO's.

    - Check and review vendor/subcontractor proposals, documentations and drawings.

    - Participate in project, client, vendor and subcontractor meetings.

    - Provide input to proposals. Prepare man-hour and material cost estimates

    - Provide Input to Construction Sub Contract, evaluate bids and supervise contractor.

    - Act as a mentor to other employees

    Skills & Experience

    - Engineering qualification, ONC or HNC or similar.

    - Experienced engineer in all aspects of Civil/Structural Engineering in the Petrochemical/Refinery industry, and with

    - Previous experience in module design.

    - Strong hands on experience structural design works to American and European codes.

    - Strong Knowledge of PDMS modelling software design suite.

    - Experience with project controls reporting requirements.

    - Knowledge of Russian codes and working in Russia or cold climates

    Knowledge and experience in production of a selection of the following CSA drawings and deliverables using both 2D and 3D methods:

    - Site Preparation and Earthworks Layouts

    - Ground Improvement drawings

    - Piling Layouts

    - Key Plans

    - Concrete GAs/RCs
