Employing over 20,000 personnel they operate in around 40 countries worldwide As HSSE Advisor (Onshore) your main responsibilities will include Provide challenge, support, assurance and expert advice on all matters relating to the Security, Safety, Health & Environment in order for location/project/contract to achieve objectives and performance targets.Provide positive leadership for the [contract/[project/location] on HSSE issues and promote the adoption of SSHEQ best practicePromote an enthusiastic SSHEQ culture that delivers positive commitment to, and engages all employees in, continous performance improvementMonitor and report on the effectiveness of the HSSE management system and progress against the company HSSE Performance Standards. Make recommendations for improvement where appropriateProvide assistance and advice to the Project Manager/Location Manager with responsibility for HSSEContribute towards developing annual HSSE objectives for Project/Location. Monitor and report on the implementation and effectivenessAssist with the identification of HSSE training needs and monitor delivery and recordingMonitor and report on the implementation of the approved HSSE objectivesProduce HSSE performance reports as requiredPromptly alert line and functional management to significant accidents and incidents. Where appropriate be innvolved in the investigation and ensure that the findings are reported and appropriately sharedReview accident and incident reports. Provide environmental support to the team.Operate within the extended client HSE Team. Ensure delivery of Client / Company Interface requirements and HSE Improvement Plans.Provision of induction, training, instruction and support to all project personnel in relevant areas of HSE.Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports to ensure that 'root cause' issues are both identified and linked to measures to prevent a recurrence.Analyse lessons learned to identify sources of information to be used in the prevention of a recurrence.Carry out the Project Offshore / Onshore Site HSE visit programme.
