Reporting to the HSSE Manager, this position will be based on a 28/28 rotation and will require the ideal candidate to have had previous experience in working with major operators and have a proven track record of service and delivery.
Job Description
The Drilling and Completions HSSE Advisor will be responsible for the day to day interface with the field based Staff and Contractors. This role will provide support and coaching to ensure that current standards and legislation are met.
The HSSE Advisor will be required to participate in the Tripoli based Incident management team, including site participation as requested. This will also include occasional site visits.
Understand and maintain facility bridging documents between company and Contractor safety management system
Coordinate with contractor safety personnel to understand safety performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
Audit and coach job planning activities, including Permit to Work, JSEAs and hazard recognition.
Assure facility appointed incident investigation teams identify root cause factors (using the CLC process or equivalent) and preventive measures are delivered.
Assist operations team in taking action to prevent recurrence of incidents
Communicate pertinent best practices, lessons learned, safety and environmental alerts to operations staff.
Be a technical safety resource for the incident management team for all field contingency actions as well as assist and participate in the execution of periodic drills.
