LiveDeputy Security Manager
A proven track record, operating within the Security domain is a pre-requisite. An experienced Security (Risk) Manager with knowledge of commercial operations within North Africa, or a similar environment, who has the experience and knowledge of security structure. The incumbent would need to demonstrate the ability to operate independently whilst managing a complex task under austere conditions; previous ‘service’ experience (Police, Armed Forces, etc) would be considered an advantage.
? Actively monitor and if necessary enforce Security Policy, to ensure a safe living and working environment for staff and sub-contractors. ? To constantly review the operating environment from a Security perspective. ? Conduct intelligence analysis to inform and guide daily operations. ? Identify, analyse and resolve security related matters, through avoidance, mitigation or affirmative action. ? Conduct Security surveys and Reviews to identify risks and systematically go about resolving them. ? To generate and maintain Security Plans and Procedures for all Sites. ? Establish a continuous Residential Security Risk Management regime. ? Establish a Security Audit Programme to ensure understanding, acceptance and compliance; enforce standards where applicable. ? Regularly test security to identify weaknesses: conduct penetration testing. ? Develop, plan and deliver generic security training for all employees. ? Develop, plan and deliver specific and focused security training for Supervisors and Managers. ? Develop, plan and deliver specific security training for security staff. ? Set high standards of behavior, lead from the front and by personal example: motivate and inspire personnel to actively engage with security initiatives. ? Adopt an approach of mutual respect, showing dignity to all employees through a policy of evenhandedness, fairness and proportionality in your dealings with others. ? Represent company best interests in your dealings with all stakeholders. ? Conduct any other related activity, as directed by the Security Manager. ? Assist with the sourcing of security related equipment.

Relevant degree/ certification At least 5 years work experience in plant operations in an oil, gas or petrochemical preferably in a Polyethylene or Polypropylene plant. Knowledge of regulation highly desirable Fluent spoken English
To perform high skill operational duties in petrochemical and refining operations with the aim of meeting production targets, in accordance with procedures and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Basic understanding of mechanism and start/stop field operation about Refinery or Petrochemical equipment (e.g. Heat Exchanger, Pump, Compressor, Motor, Turbine, Manual valve, Control valve, Distillation column, Reactor, Furnace etc.) Perform or assist in the start-up or shut down of assigned plant and facilities according to approved operating procedure or instruction. Conduct regular inspections and walk through of plant facilities to ensure plant is functioning efficiently. Identify malfunctions or symptoms
