My client is a Leading International Contractor in Iraq. They are a company which command an excellent reputation in the region having been involved in some of the recent major projects.

The client urgently requires a Contracts Manager for their Large Power Plant Project in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Job Specification:

*Minimum 5 years experience in Contract Management
*Experienced internationally; preferably in Iraq

Formed in 2008, my client has a focus on combined cycle power plants, combined heat and power plants and open cycle gas turbine power plants. My client is looking for a Lead Electrical Installation Supervisor, on a 18 month contract. The Role: You will be responsible for overseeing the erection and installation of all electrical works of combined cycle gas turbines including: *Main Centerline Equipment and associated electrical auxiliary systems/components. *Generators. *Protection equipment. *Electrical systems and power distribution equipment for projects supporting the company's power business. *Services to be engineered as Owners Engineer site Staff. *Supporting Owner's site personnel. *Overseeing the main EPC Contractor and his works. *Provide guidance on to Erection Contractor for its processes. *Provide support in claim management. *Monitor and inspect the electrical erection/installation activities of the contractor. *Review and approve Contractor's site quality assurance/quality control system proposed for all electrical erection/installation activities. *Promotion of safety functions and procedures. *Prepare the regular site progress reports for the electrical related parts/systems/equipment as required by the general site manager (daily, weekly, monthly). Essential Requirements: THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO HAVE A MINIMUM 7 YEARS EXPERIENCE INSTALLATING CCGT, WITH ADDITIONAL INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE. Other requirements: The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management (desired but not required).     - Provide all necessary schedules to ensure the development of proper estimates and cost forecasts within a project stage;

    - Coordinate and develop appropriate internal and external schedule benchmarks and technical limits;

    - Work extensively with Primavera P3 and Maximo scheduling tools;

    - Implement and monitor schedules within each sub-project;

    - Analyse and monitor progress against milestones and associated deliverables;

    - Develop, maintain and periodically issue associated progress curves, completing estimates, earned value, etc.;

    - Mentor and coach others on schedule controls to aid project delivery;

    - Perform other associated duties as assigned;

    Skills & Experience

    - Past experience of performing project services or control functions;

    - Experience working with small teams and contractors;

    - Extensive experience with Primavera P3;

    - Bachelor's degree required.
