SENIOR HSE ADVISOR required by our client, an International Oil and Gas Operator, to be hired on a contract basis, located in South Korea / Australia Duration: 12 Months PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES Development phase based in Korea to review and develop HSE deliverables/ interface and review/assist development of EPC and Contractor HSE deliverables. Transition to a rostered offshore position on the CPF or FPSO, to assist an initial Korea transition period, Tow (if required), then offshore facility roster being the 2IC/delegate to the CPF HSE Superintendent. Delivery of set HSE deliverables for IHUC readiness and sail away of the CPF. Assistance to the preparation of EPC and Contractor HSE deliverables for the Tow and IHUC work programs; Support the mobilization of contractor work scopes including the review of contractor HSE document deliverables; Support the CPF HSE Superintendent as and when required for required and often urgent HSE development scopes and deliverables; Assist in investigation of major events; Work with HSE colleagues to support HSE programs as a professional member of the HSE Department. Provide general advice, guidance and support on HSE matters to internal stakeholders. Cost Reduction Initiatives Effectively engage in business cost reduction initiatives The role deliverables are very broad and the resource must have the ability to adapt quickly to meet the demands of the Project. Will be required to intervene or have appropriate conversations with team members around safe work practices. Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Occupational Health and Safety Certificate IV and/or tertiary qualification. Diploma or Degree Qualification highly regarded. Critical Skills and Capabilities A minimum of 10 years' experience working with health, safety and environment management systems in a resource company environment. Offshore Projects/Hydrocarbon experience highly regarded. A self-starter that will proactively identify and address HSE issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized, self-motivated results orientated person. Ability to quickly build effective working relationship based around the values of safety, integrity, persity, ingenuity and collaboration. Be able to adapt and modify approach to suit a pressured and challenging work environment. Will have the dual skillset to be able to effectively write/deliver/oversee high quality HSE document deliverables and implement these onsite across different phases. "Delivery focus" a must and ability to deliver under a challenging working environment without a mature management system to work against. Broad Offshore HSE experience required. Have effective communication skills to get desired outcomes effectively and quickly with key stakeholders including the CPF management team when required. Experience with dealing with senior management to act as a conscious and coach to operate facilities in the Australian Oil and Gas Regulatory Environment. Readiness experience required in large scale IHUC campaigns highly regarded.

Provide HSE advice, support and challenge centre leadership and ensure they establish the right HSSE culture and behaviours Ensure the HSSE committee structure, tools and processes are in place and operating effectively Supporting effective HSE contractor management. Ensure Permit To Work process is in place for the site and successfully manage high risk activities Support Facilities team on sub-contractors management Conduct site inductions for contractors and sub-contractors Develop and support a staff training calendar Lead all onsite health activities including but not limited to Health Risk Assessment, information campaigns, ergonomic support and occupational health support.
