    Some of Progressives larger national and international clients are currently seeking expressions of interest for OHS/safety personnel across various major infrastructure projects in Australia. Based out of Melbourne, we are searching for candidates who are available towards the end of 2015 for office based, site based and mixed base roles. The projects range from major pipeline, roads, rail and building in the civil infrastructure space.

    In order to be considered you must be a current Melbourne resident in with experience in the industry sectors mentioned above. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is also essential.

    The contract roles will vary in length but should mostly cover a period of at least 6 months.

    - Prepare, implement and test emergency response plans as required

    - Coordinate site safety advisors /coaches as required

    - Liaise and collaborate with the assets HSE Team

    The role entails supervision of HSE professionals and interaction with a number of internal and external stakeholders, including: asset teams, wells teams, contractors, consultants and regulators.

    - Demonstration of compliance with Project HSEQ Standard for all projects with no HSE issues identified at gate reviews and demonstration of ALARP for project designs

    - Successful management of operational risks and control of work resulting in improvement in injury and HiPo rates

    - Robust incident investigation, management of actions and sharing of lessons

    - Delivery of improvement plans

    - Ability to deliver a credible HSE message
