Accountabilities and Responsibilities: The job holder is responsible for: To ensure compliance of contractor companies with Agip KCO health policies and procedures and relevant aspects of RoK legislation. To undertake Health and Hygiene inspections, reviews and audits of contractor and/or company vessels and facilities during the I&HUC programme. To attend HSE related, site planning, progress and other appropriate site meetings as necessary, particularly those where subcontractors are involved. Carry out safety inspections and control of safety equipment functionality. Review the contractor safety performance by inspection and by acquiring data in order to provide means to improve overall HSE standards. Monitor availability, functionality and condition of all Company medical facilities, stretchers, first aid points and eyewash stations. To implement the safety coaching program Review at regular intervals the performance and effectiveness of medical equipment and recommend where necessary its replacement or upgrade in light of improved diagnostic capabilities and international guidelines. Review medical response in terms of personnel and equipment for EP operations during I&HUC Ensure strict compliance with the development project safety requirements. Ensure the adequate training of personnel operating on offshore site locations Investigate all safety incidents and accidents as appropriate. Attend HSE meetings and proceed as instructed. Work with Management, Supervisors, Safety Representatives and all personnel in proactive promotion of Health and Safety. Support of any company-wide health promotion programme.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills: The job holder must have: • A degree in Engineering or a Technical discipline. • 5 years broad experience in an operations environment within the O&G or related industry. • Project field implementation and progress reporting experience. • Strong knowledge of technical aspects of oil spill response and countermeasures equipment for marine and land spill environments, in particular experience in small vessel and barge operations and spill equipment used in a marine coastal environment. • Field operations practical experience during oil spill response and remediation. • Oil spill exercise planning and execution experience. • High level of competence and experience in oil spill response training for field responders using countermeasures equipment and response vessel. Specification and procurement of oil spill equipment as per annual procurement plan. Oil spill risk assessment, incident prevention planning and auditing at sites, incident investigation. Oil spill response training, coaching and auditing for Tier 1 response preparedness by Contractors. Preparing/delivering Training to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Contractor field responders to meet preparedness objectives. Technical interfacing and logistics support planning with Tier 3 response contractor. Designing, organizing and report preparation for oil spill response exercises (both table top and field deployment types) to meet preparedness objectives and regulatory compliance.
