Job Description

Employment type: 12 month contract
Hours: 40 hours per week

My client is looking for a cleaning validation consultant with good experience of cleanroom qualification, risk assessment and commissioning.
The role entails practical implementation of validation and qualification of liquid parenterals.

The ideal candidate will have:
*Minimum BSc in Chemical Engineering or other relevant discipline
*Experience of cleaning validation including CIP and SIP
*Hands on experience with parenterals
*Fluency in German

Experience of SIP of lyophilisation would be beneficial.

    Job Description

    - Lead by example and foment change in a workforce accustomed to less developed HS&E practices.

    - Help develop, implement and maintain the Rumaila minimum standards for all third party contractors.

    - Manage the development of tiered multi-level QAQC check lists and verification tools.

    - Ensure contractor delivery to international and contract standards by managing scheduled tiered multi-level field, facility and procedure & data QAQC audits.

    - Schedule follow up reviews and tracking of QAQC action items.

    - Perform trouble shooting, root cause analysis and incident investigation reports.

    - Plan, deliver and assess periodic formal training on specialist subjects and quality control measures to Iraqi staff.

    - Liaise and facilitate feedback on QAQC issues with the project Wells department managers.

    - Champion the application of new technology, international standards (API, ISO, IADC) and best practices as appropriate.

    - Ensure on-going QAQC audits are tracked, reports are on T drive and actions are closed out.

    - Review all QAQC reports and issue to relevant manager.

    - Work closely with Integrity and Audit TLs to support the requirements of the project Wells organisation.

    Skills & Experience

    - Proven record of strong execution and delivery.

    - Good leadership skills, demonstrated in the leadership of operating teams.

    - Vast industry experience in different roles, including considerable experience in a supervisor or management position.

    - Knowledge of QAQC and management systems.

    - A proven ability to coach, train and mentor local & international staff.

    - Good presentation and persuasion skills.

    - A strong team player with self-motivation skills and the ability to work independently is a must.

    - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.

    - Educated to at least first degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering, Geological or related disciplines.

    - Experience of working in the Middle East Land in based environments is preferred.

    - A flexible approach to work is essential.

    This is a contract position.

    A basic understanding and appreciation for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering requirements during commissioning and in operations work.
    Understanding of basic drawings.
    Able to converse and write in English language.
    Able to plan, implement and time management of a variety of tasks
