Key Requirements
Due to the responsibilities involved within this role, the organisation is looking for someone who fits several essential criteria:
• Educated to MSc level in Petroleum engineering or a related discipline, and extensive exploration and production experience.
• Extensive experience in reservoir characterization, fluid characterization, well reservoir engineering, field reservoir engineering, reservoir management, asset management and well testing design.
• The ability to work well under pressure and complete tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with the standard suite of industry software, e.g. Geoquest and Petex.
• Excellent understanding of petrophysics, G&G and production/operations issues.

The chosen individual must therefore be able to manage several projects simultaneously and also have an ability to provide support to multi-disciplinary groups of people.
In addition to this you will be have many responsibilities including:
• Improving and promoting the correct development of asset management plans.
• Leading small groups and task forces with general project management tasks.
• Work effectively with operating companies to assist them with their reservoir management business objectives.
• Developing links with appropriate industry and research partners.
• Providing company representation in Technical Committee Meetings.
• Being responsible for HSE programs and activity plans.
• Providing advice on reserves assessments.
