    Job Title: Sr. Geological Consultant - Geophysicist (Unconventional) Location: Saudi Arabia Our client - A leading Oil and Gas Operator - is currently looking for an experienced Geophysicist who holds experience in identifying and characterizing shale and tight gas reservoirs using seismic data. You will join the client’s Unconventional program within their Exploration Department based in Saudi Arabia. As a Geophysicist in an unconventional asset you will support the Exploration Geologist in identifying exploration areas for resource identification and maturation using geophysical tools. You will also support the operations team in selecting appropriate completion decisions (placement and orientation of fracs) and monitoring frac spreads with microseismic data. The role will be working with the client on a Direct Hire/Permanent basis, and you will be located in Saudi Arabia on Residential Status. This means you will be relocating to Saudi Arabia, and will be able to relocate with family if you wish, as the client offers excellent Single or Family status benefits packages, on top of a highly competitive Tax Free Salary. Minimum Requirements The selected candidate must have the following experience and skillsets: • Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics or a related science as appropriate to the required discipline. An advanced degree is preferred and will reduce prerequisite work experience stated below by one year for a master’s degree and two years for a Ph.D. • A minimum of 15 years of related experience within the oil/gas industry, with at least 5 years of this experience in unconventional hydrocarbon basins.
