Responsibilities -Able to lead a team a large scale team contracting/designing a Wastewater facilities -Lead a team to help build and design different wastewater facilities -Must be familiar with QA/QC Qualifications -Bachelors in Civil Engineering -Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) preferred but not required -Have lead a team in the scope of a construction superintendent for at least 10 years -At least 4 years doing contract/design of Waste Water Facilities -Experience with large scale projects preferred (300-600M) -Proven work history of being a successful leader

    Key Requirements

    Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations Conduct management of change (MOC) environmental reviews Environmental contact for internal and external audits Perform IH personal and area exposure monitoring. Includes shipping monitoring sample media for analysis, maintaining monitoring media inventories, and ensuring monitoring equipment is ready for use. Conduct lighting and noise surveys for the site. Conduct air velocity surveys on local ventilation systems in the maintenance shop areas. Maintain equipment inventory to include equipment location, and calibration or service dates. Examples of equipment are sample pumps, noise meters, light meters, radiation meters, air velocity meters and respirator fit testing equipment. Assist the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) by performing field surveys and leak wipe testing of sealed sources, and by tracking the radiation badging for affected personnel. Attend RSO training to fill the RSO backup role. Perform respirator fit testing for Dow employees, completing documentation for trainers and Health Services. Manage the inventory of respirators, regulators and adaptors issued through the Tool Room. Clean and repair respirators used for both fit testing and those issued through the Tool Room. Test breathing air cylinders for oxygen content. Label and tag for use throughout the site. Respond to site emergencies to perform exposure monitoring along with the IH Specialist. May require doning of bunker gear and/or SCBA. Assist the IH Specialist in training new employees on various IH programs such as exposure monitoring, respiratory protection, and ergonomics. Ensure housekeeping is maintained in both the Respiratory Services building and in the IH laboratory. Perform safety and housekeeping inspections according to the inspection schedule. Perform computer work to enter data into Excel or Access databases, prepare chain of custody documents for samples, request RMA's for equipment, order supplies, etc. Must be able to climb stairs and vertical ladders. Assist the Emergency Directors in performing weekly inspections of the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) used for fire fighting.
