Key Requirements

As a Technical Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include: • Mechanical Engineering degree and several years’ experience in the turbomachinery field. • Good field and/or shop related knowledge of turbomachinery. • Advanced understanding of theory, technology, operation and troubleshooting (steam turbines and compressors). • The ability to become quickly familiar with local legislation, health, safety and environmental regulations. • Comfortable in dealing with people from various nations and cultures. What we are looking for in you: You will have the ability to develop a strong knowledge of regional business stakeholders such as customer base contractors and competitors. Profound knowledge of the English language and excellent communication skills both spoken and written.

Job Description

As a Technical Manager your main responsibilities will involve: Act as the technical focal point for the region servicing both internal (field engineers, repair facilities) and external customers. Development of solutions to field technical problems, input into repair proposals, modifications and technical upgrades as well as direct supervision of the Field Service team. Coordinate technical activities between the Joint Venture in KSA. Assist with and provide guidance on technical aspects of quote/proposal preparations. Provide project engineers support for major projects and overhauls. Develop the setup of a Repair Shop and Training Centre.
