The Role requires the successful consultant to prepare documentation and procedures for commissioning, as well as activities including pressure testing, pigging and nitrogen flushing. Experience in these pre-commissioning activities is desirable as is the preparation of documents in connection with bid estimates. You will preferably have been offshore and overseen the pre commissioning activities yourself and will be a strong communicator who can liaise with sub- contractors, partners, clients and customers. TYPICAL DUTIES Support the design, development, and construction of new pipelines. Interact with the project team members (route development, land, permitting, construction, etc.) to ensure all engineering aspects of the project are considered, evaluated, and incorporated into the final pipeline design documentation. Coordinate Staking with land department, engineering and surveying. Work closely with construction team during construction phase to answer and resolve engineering related questions or concerns, as well as changes that may occur. Report progress, hurdles and road blocks so that solutions can be identified quickly to keep the project on the fast track schedule. Monitor construction activities to identify any errant items that may affect cost or schedule.
