    Job Description

    The Company is one of the largest global design, project management and engineering organisations and has been contracted to act as the main supplier of FEED services to Saudi Aramco. They will manage all aspects of the project, including the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) providers. They are now building multiple teams of Project Managers and Specialists to work with them in ensuring the high quality of service delivery that they are renowned for. You may work at the Company’s main office or at one of the EPC offices, which are all in close proximity. You will be contracted through the Company for a guaranteed 5 year period with a potential extension of 4 years. Attractive “End of Service” bonuses will be offered at the end of the 5 and 9 year milestones. Al-Khobar is a large city located in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the coast of the Persian Gulf and is linked to Bahrain via the causeway. The Company provides for single status and cannot assist with marital related visas or costs. This is a residential position (i.e. not rotational) and the Company provides 22 – 28 days holiday (depending on grade) plus you are entitled to all of the Saudi Public holidays (circa 10 - 14 days) which provide ample time to visit family.     Job Description

    Main activities of the Head of I&C unit will be: - Lead a group of I&Cspecialists and/or engineers appointed to the project and reports to Engineering Manager for the peculiarities of the project and the quality of the work. - To cooperate and coordinate with I&C specialists the approval of I&C project documentation and day to day management of I&C team. - Oversight of the activities of engineers, designers and drafters engaged in the design of facility I&C systems, to ensure the designs conform to recognized codes and standards and with customer requirements - To supervise and participate actively in the drafting of I&C project technical specifications requests for tenders, tabulations and technical follow- up of supplies. - To ensure the coordination of the activities of I&C discipline, guaranteeing the consistency of the documents with the contract, the respect of the time schedule, the implementation of the contract requirements, the compliance of the assigned man-hours and the quality of the deliverables under the guidance of the Engineering Manager. - To interface with the Customer and Suppliers of materials and services for all the technical aspects related to I&C discipline - To guarantee assistance to the construction activities during the construction and commissioning of the plant. - To assure functionality of plant Detail Design, including I&C systems, field instrumentation and bulk material, coordination of calculations and licensing documentation and their compliance with the legislation. - To assure cooperation cooperation with Plant Design area, Process and Equipment area and Electrical Design area to support verification activities aimed to assure the compliance between I&C and process aspects and layout solutions and with Project Engineering area providing the technical standpoint when reviewing Contractor’s documentation related to this area.
