    The Equipment Engineer is in charge of the technical management of the contract related to the process and supply of the primary and liquid effluents treatment system of the UK EPR.

    Primary Job Responsibilities

    Interfacing with other disciplines providing or requesting interface data, such as system engineering and layout engineering, the Equipment Engineer:

    Updates the specifications for the technical parts of the contract and the associated documents (e.g. List of Documents Required from the Contractor)

    Participates to the call for tender process:

    Technical clarifications to bidders (including chairing and taking minutes of the meetings with bidders)

    Technical assessment of bids and determination of the technical acceptability

    Finalisation of the technical specifications for the contract signature

    Carries out the lay-out reviews relating to the implementation of the equipment in the 3D model and introduction route for the installation of the equipment.

    Ensures the tender activity complies with the schedule and deadlines required by the contract.

    Leads the surveillance of the successful contractor for each stage of the contract (design, procurement, and manufacturing).

    These activities are performed in interaction with departments based in Paris.

    Knoweldege, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

    Training & Experiences: Mechanical or chemical engineer, experience in contract management and/or project management.

    Junior - Intermediate Engineer with 2-6 years' experience, possibly from a Project Engineer background.

    Technical skills and knowledge: Mechanics, thermo-hydraulics, electrical, C&I desirable.

    Knowledge of UK rules related to effluent treatment. Knowledge of atomic and nuclear engineering is desirable.
