    Our Client is currently looking for an Electrical / Commissioning Engineer for a role based in the Shetland Islands. Remit as follows: The role will be to consult amongst the Site team - (Workpack engineers, planners, Ops/COW Team and GOC Team plus any specialist vendors) and the site teams - (Asset Care Engineers, Site Ops engineers/Ops specialists, Site Maintenance leads etc) and build integrated Commissioning procedures to put forward for approval by site for their execution. Writing commissioning procedures for anything from a Crude Tank through to complex procedures for TAR commissioning and restarts including rotating machinery and Compressors/associated control equipment. Must be a self motivated team player and self-sufficient together with ability to work with minimal supervision and capable of identifying and developing project wide commissioning deliverables with familiarity of the interpretation of appropriate national& international industry standards. Must be fully familiar with workpack approach to project construction works and have experience in support engineering role, to work with selected E&I sub-contractors and other discipline sub-contractors and specialist vendors to scope, estimate, manage and document/certify the installation, completion and commissioning of the work. Must have a good all round E&I background and experience, from both a hands on and commissioning engineering point of view. Must have the ability to do hands on commissioning if required to do so. Must have a good understanding of planning and be able to articulate the required information to Project planning personnel for them to populate/update the plans. Must be a strong, self-managing person. Must be a good at liaising between inpiduals, groups and disciplines. Must have good working knowledge& experience of instrumentation and electrical systems and their operation. Must have experience of working on 'brownfield' projects on a live site. Must be familiar in the interpretation of appropriate national & international industry standards. -Experience of Portfolio Project commissioning engineering would be an advantage -Should ideally have experience across a broad range of processes and clients, including one or more of the following - Chemical or oil & gas industries utilising continuous processing.
