    Job Description

    This position has a strong role in the Drilling Team, being a part of the Completion Team responsible for the equipment preparation- and offshore supervision of Completion and Work Over programmes, including logistical preparedness within defined area of expertise. The Completion Supervisor is expected to provide suggestions for improvements and to supervise onshore workshop activities as required.

    - Safe and cost- effective Supervision and hands on implementation of all completion activities in accordance with approved Completion and Work Over programmes for the Idd el Shargi North and South Dome fields.

    - Prepare completion equipment in coordination with workshop completion supervisor.

    - Provide service quality feedback to the Completion Specialist and Drilling Engineers.

    - End of well filing on company data server as well as hardcopies of all applicable reports and completion data to ensure all documentation is kept and preserved for future usage.

    Skills & Experience

    - Extensive experience in completion operations, supervision of completion engineers and service personnel, including min. five years experience in offshore operations.

    - Practical hands-on ability, instruction of service engineers and drilling crew and ability to demonstrate how-to is a requirement.

    - Strong technical know-how and in-depth understanding of all standard completion components.

    - A proven team player capable of working in a multi-discipline, multi-nationality environment.

    - Offshore experience from jack-up rigs or platform rigs is a requirement.

    - Experience in Slick line/Wire line operations is a plus.

    - Experience in ESP completion installation is a plus.

    - Experience in Coil Tubing operations is a plus.

    - Practical hands-on type with a strong technical background and preferably a City & Guilds.

    - A combined mechanical/electrical knowledge is a plus.

    - Good computer skills with most common Microsoft office software on a user level â€" is a requirement.

    - Engage with the End User so Operating Instructions and Maintenance Instructions are developed and verified during commissioning activities and opportunities are maximised to undertake training to operate/maintain the equipment.

    - Ensure commissioning reservations are raised and cleared appropriately during the commissioning of equipment and systems.

    - Ensure that modifications are only carried out using approved Change Control procedures.

    - Provide commissioning support during the active commissioning / operational phase as detailed by commissioning management.

    - To engage with other members of the site wide Commissioning and Project Community, enabling Review Learn and improve opportunities and therefore improve project delivery performance by transfer of best practice.

    Skills and Experience

    - Recognised technical qualification (ONC/HNC/NVQ) or extensive demonstrable experience in a commissioning environment with nuclear regulatory, quality and engineering requirements or within those industries with analogous processes and oversight constraints.

    - Extensive knowledge and experience of commissioning control and indication systems and equipment and an understanding of the mechanical and electrical interface aspects of those systems.

    - Good understanding of plant operation, maintenance and testing.

    - Nuclear plant experience and/or an understanding of the specific hazards and constraints associated with commissioning in that environment.

    - Familiar with the Health & Safety At Work Act, Risk Assessment and Safe Systems of Work.

    - Must have relevant skills in Control and Instrumentation systems operation, integration, setting to work, commissioning and maintenance.

    - Must demonstrate honesty and integrity in the work place, have a robust approach to Environmental Health & Safety demonstrable through behaviour.
