    The Commissioning Specialist, Electrical is a key participant in administering and executing an integrated commissioning/start-up program with special emphasis on Power and Electrical Control and Management System (ECMS).     The role of the Commissioning Lead is to support the Commissioning Manager in delivering the preparation and execution of commissioning activities in order to deliver facilities to Operations in accordance with the project technical standards and schedule.     Planning Phase Responsibilities:

    - Represent the commissioning team as Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) for Construction and Operations

    - Develop high level plan of commissioning activities for fabrication site to minimise North slope commissioning as reasonably possible.

    - Lead the development of the system handover and system identification. Work with Operations and Engineering in development of system breakdowns.

    - Provide input to set priorities for sub-system turnover that takes into account the facility's design and would allow for safe commissioning of sub-systems / systems while the construction contractor completes and turns over the remaining systems.

    - Support the development of commissioning procedures. Provide input and comments on temporary equipment required to support commissioning activities.

    - Provide input and comments on 3rd party vendor selection and development of 3rd party scope of work documents.

    - Supporting project Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) including: reviewing procedures, arranging FCO resources, periodically attending FAT, and adjusting commissioning scope to integrate FAT successes and deficiencies.

    - Review engineering design and provide comments toward commissionability at fabrication site and North slope installation phase.

    - Assist with the development of commissioning schedules as design becomes more mature.

    Execution Phase:

    - Lead the pre-commissioning/commissioning activities for his/her areas of responsibility.

    - Act as delegate to Commissioning Manager to review/accept mechanical completion packages from construction and review/offer system handover packages to operations.

    - Attend mechanical completion and system handover joint walk downs as required.

    - Responsible for preparing/reviewing work permits for commissioning scope. May be required to act as the Issuing Authority.

    - Attend daily Progress/SIMOPS meeting and provide input/comments as required.

    - Provide daily feedback as to commissioning status for his/her respective scope and generate weekly activity reports. Coordinate commissioning resources allocation to support.

    Skills & Experience

    - Extensive experience in Commissioning and Start-Up of rotating equipment packages on an Oil and Gas Major Project. Additional experience from Operations would also be an advantage.

    - Knowledge of onshore gas and oil producing facilities and/or FPSO process plant, facilities, utilities, and architecture of surface and subsurface offshore.

    - It is expected that the successful candidate will have an engineering degree or extensive commissioning experience in the Electrical & Instrumentation disciplines..

    - Demonstrated extensive experience within the field of commissioning.

    - Previous experience with GoCompletions or equivalent completions management process and system.

    - Deep understanding of Control of Work processes during execution

    - Good verbal and written communication skills

    - Good organizational skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office computer software

    - Willingness and ability to work a 12-hour day shift or night shift, 7 days a week, on a rotational basis in a remote location (e.g. 2 weeks on shift, 2 weeks on R&R)

You will assist systems completion Manager on its duty so to interface with Subsea PCC Engineering To be suitable for this position you will need to have the following background: *Engineering degree or equivalent or significant technical experience acquired. *Your independence and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this position. *5-10 years' experience in oil & gas industry especially with offshore topsides works including revamping and retrofit, pre-commissioning & commissioning. *Technical knowledge on equipment, materials. *General IT skills in Word, Excel, Access, MS project. *Multi-discipline knowledge:piping, mechanical,electrical,instrumentation,hydraulic, pneumatic… *good level of communication in English is imperative *Senior Engineer will be acceptable for this position but this is subject to review on a case by case basis.     Job Description

    This position has a strong role in the Drilling Team, being a part of the Completion Team responsible for the equipment preparation- and offshore supervision of Completion and Work Over programmes, including logistical preparedness within defined area of expertise. The Completion Supervisor is expected to provide suggestions for improvements and to supervise onshore workshop activities as required.

    - Safe and cost- effective Supervision and hands on implementation of all completion activities in accordance with approved Completion and Work Over programmes for the Idd el Shargi North and South Dome fields.

    - Prepare completion equipment in coordination with workshop completion supervisor.

    - Initiate and prepare well schematics, equipment load plans in coordination with Drilling Engineer and liaise with Drilling Supervisor and vendors, to ensure completion equipment is prepared and sent offshore in a timely manner.

    - Assist the Offshore Drilling Supervisor in all matters whilst on rig, to ensure a safe- and cost effective operation is being executed.

    - Forward suggestions and recommendations to improvements, to ensure that the most appropriate completion equipment and design from the most common to state-of-the-art are being utilized.

    - Feed back on service company equipment and personnel performance to ensure cost effective operations.

    - Provide service quality feedback to the Completion Specialist and Drilling Engineers.

    - End of well filing on company data server as well as hardcopies of all applicable reports and completion data to ensure all documentation is kept and preserved for future usage.

    Skills & Experience

    - Extensive experience in completion operations, supervision of completion engineers and service personnel, including min. five years experience in offshore operations.

    - Practical hands-on ability, instruction of service engineers and drilling crew and ability to demonstrate how-to is a requirement.

    - Strong technical know-how and in-depth understanding of all standard completion components.

    - A proven team player capable of working in a multi-discipline, multi-nationality environment.

    - Offshore experience from jack-up rigs or platform rigs is a requirement.

    - Experience in Slick line/Wire line operations is a plus.

    - Experience in ESP completion installation is a plus.

    - Experience in Coil Tubing operations is a plus.

    - Practical hands-on type with a strong technical background and preferably a City & Guilds.

    - A combined mechanical/electrical knowledge is a plus.

    - Good computer skills with most common Microsoft office software on a user level â€" is a requirement.
