    Position: Sr. Process Engineer Type: Contract to Direct Location: Tulsa, OK Responsibilities: • Manage a team of Process Engineers in the execution of projects, including interfacing and liaising with all project personnel as necessary. • At project initiation, prepare review or check process discipline’s portion of the Project Execution Plan, process man-hour estimation, manpower planning and scheduling, and Scope of Work. • Perform process engineering services such as: • Identify and report changes to project scope; • Assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules; • Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders; • Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions; • Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports. • Assist with development and/or review/approve all process deliverables including Process Design Criteria, calculations, simulations, PFD’s, H&MB’s, P&ID’s, LDT’s, equipment sizing, hydraulics and reports. • Monitor process discipline progress and prepare project review status reports. Participate in project risk assessment process, identify ongoing risks, develop workaround plans and manage ongoing risks. • Participate in project internal & external meetings, inter-discipline and vendor documentation review and approval. • Execute interdisciplinary reviews of deliverables, and distribute deliverables, • Develop or review/approve Process operation philosophy, control narratives and maintenance manuals, safety analysis, and conduct on-site training of personnel as requested. • Participate in process hazard assessment sessions, such as: HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and Risk Review. • Advise and direct the project team in the creation of technical deviations, design decisions and code variances. • Participate in constructability reviews an Must have Refinery Experience, Process Unit experience JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client has an immediate opening for a Process Engineer reporting to our Oil, Gas and Chemical’s Group in the Tulsa office.     - Create project designs for LNG or CO2 gas processing plants utilizing engineering staff and subcontractors
    - Edit, provide input to, or develop Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and Process Data Sheets in support of design projects
    - Provide technical leadership to cross functional teams in developing sizing of key process equipment including vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, pumps and other miscellaneous equipment
    - Develop sizing tools and criteria of key process plant equipment
    - Develop an in depth understanding of the process being designed and the relationships / tradeoff between key design variables and inputs
    - Develop and optimize process configurations based upon project requirements
