    For this role you will be responsible for defining and managing projects using strong commercial insight, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and enjoy working in a laboratory environment. Your main areas of focus will include the development of micro-fluidic consumables capable of running complex essays; manipulation and analysis; cell sorting; and the broader integration complex multi-disciplinary instrumentation systems.

    The successful candidate will have:
    * At least 5 years relevant work experience
    * Be able to conduct independent studies with no supervision
    * Expertise in molecular biology techniques, DNA modifying enzymes, RNA/DNA amplification and sequencing are essential. This includes an essential understanding of PCR and polymerase biochemistry.
    * Experience with sample preparation and real-time PCR.
    * The ability to develop molecular biology concepts, supporting the development of new instruments in qPCR and sequencing.
    * Working knowledge of ISO13485, QSR and GMP guidelines and experience with next-generation sequencing would be a plus.
