An Expanding operator with a 5 year plans to double production within their International assets, is looking to hire a a dedicated Senior Geologist for their operations in both UKCS and West Africa. My clients International offices are based in Aberdeen they are one of the top ten largest operators in the UKCS, operating 99% of their assets. As a Senior Geologist working in this area you will be part of and work closely with a multi-disciplinary team including the field Geophysicists and Reservoir Engineers. Your job will be to maintain production of assets, seek and generate prospects through evaluation for in-field drilling, near field exploration and bringing existing prospects to production. This role will be key to the success of the team moving forward and you will be expected to plan work schedules, lead projects and and provide leadership and coordination to the team. As a Senior Geologist you will have proven experience in production/development and exploration. You will have skills in Reservoir characterisation, reservoir mapping and geological model building and be familiar with software's such as Landmark & Petrel. Candidates with upwards of 7 years experience can be considered for this role. EU Citizenship or equivalent to work in the UK would be extremely beneficial.
