The Role: The company currently seeks to appoint a Senior Drilling Engineer to operate with the Drilling and Production Team, based out of the German head office. The newly appointed individual will provide technical support to other teams internally, including project management, implementation of new technologies, innovative work practices and cost saving initiatives. You will be required to take a lead role in the preparation, introduction and implementation of an ambitious programme to improve the economics of my client's drilling activities. In doing so, you will oversee: the execution of SSVs; the introduction of new drilling-related technologies; new innovative working practices; cost saving initiatives; and the training and development of junior production staff.
