*PROJECT MANAGER - LABORATORY* Our client is a leading engineering contractor operating on a global scale. They are currently working on a new and modern R&D facility. This facility is based in China and our client is searching for a Project Manager with an Architectural background to lead their design team. The Project Manager, who will report directly to the Project Director, will be responsible for the management and supervision of a widely varied group made up of both local and international consultants. The Project Manager will also provide and facilitate the crucial tie between clients, consultants and local design teams. Upon completion of the design, the Project Manager is expected to shift into the procurement support and construction phase of the project. Role requirements: *Assuming a leading role in all meetings with team members, consultants and the LDI (Local Design Institute) *Monitor scheduling issues relating to the designs and proactively providing solutions *Review all design submissions at critical milestones in the project plan alongside the technical team.
