Job Description
Be conversant with the technical and commercial aspects of Tenders and have a full understanding of the scope of work.
Identify potential variations in costs and the scope of work.
Ensure all tenders submitted to external clients are done so in the best interests of the Company.
Identify and compile scopes of work to 3rd party subcontractors for operations out with the Company’s core business structure where required, as part of Tender’s.
Identify and compile scopes of work for internal departments in order to fulfil client requirements, and ensure that all the relevant information is included within the Company’s final proposal.
Compile all necessary CTR’s and ensure these are suitably authorised prior to the submission of any proposals to clients.
Ensure the required documentation is compiled and suitably authorised in a timely manor prior to submission to clients.
Make, develop and encourage any technical suggestions that will enhance the overall competitiveness of Company proposals, which may be seen to give added value to clients.
Liaise with and co-ordinate the activities of vendors and subcontractors as and when required as part of tenders, without commercial authority.
Keep up to date with ongoing developments in the fields of subsea construction and remote engineering.
Interface with the other engineers to guarantee all design work is carried out with the common target of optimising final cost and schedule.
Review and be familiar with Operations Department specifications, design, drawing procedures in order to conform to the Company’s Quality Assurance Programme, the specific requirements of Clients and other governmental and/or statutory bodies.
Conduct all activities within the Quality and Safety Management Policy and Procedures.
